The Handraised app helps hosts manage Zoom meetings by monitoring participants who repeatedly raise and lower their hands. When this disruptive behavior is detected, the app may automatically move those participants to the waiting room or remove them from the meeting.
By using this app, you agree to these Terms of Use.
2. Eligibility and Intended Use
Only Zoom meeting hosts and co-hosts are permitted to use this app.
The app will not function unless you have host or co-host privileges in the meeting.
It monitors participants’ raise/lower hand activity.
Participants who excessively toggle their hand status may be:
Moved to the waiting room, or
Removed from the meeting, depending on your configuration.
You are responsible for informing participants that disruptive hand-raising behavior may result in automatic removal.
3. Automation of Existing Zoom Features
All actions taken by this app — such as moving someone to the waiting room or removing them from the meeting — are features that you, as the host or co-host, can already perform manually within Zoom.
This tool simply automates and speeds up those actions to make it easier to manage disruptions in real time.
4. User Responsibility
You are responsible for using the app appropriately and fairly.
You agree not to use the app to harass, target, or unfairly remove any participant.
You acknowledge that using this app will result in automatic removal of participants based on their hand-raising behavior.
5. Data Use
The app temporarily processes participants’ screen names and Zoom user IDs to function.
No personal data is permanently stored, shared, or used for any other purpose.
All data is discarded when the session ends.
